Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Amplepay collects, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you when you use our website, wallet, merchant tools, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, phone number, password, transaction PIN, profile information, merchant details, and any support messages or uploads you send through the platform.

We also collect service data generated through your use of Amplepay, including wallet funding records, bill payment activity, card purchases, login activity, merchant API usage, device or browser metadata, and account identifiers such as user IDs, merchant tokens, dedicated account details, and transaction references.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the service, create and manage your account, process wallet funding and purchases, verify transactions, provide merchant access, respond to support requests, send operational notifications, improve service quality, and prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized use.

Where required, we may also use your information to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, payment, anti-fraud, and security obligations.

3. Wallet, Payment, and Merchant Data

Wallet funding, payment confirmation, dedicated virtual account assignment, webhook verification, and merchant activity may require us to process transaction metadata from payment providers and financial partners. This may include account names, account numbers, bank names, payment references, customer codes, payment channel details, and transaction status information.

Merchant users are responsible for protecting their tokens, keys, and access credentials. We may log merchant API activity for operational, billing, audit, and security purposes.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with payment processors, infrastructure providers, messaging providers, fraud-prevention partners, professional advisers, law enforcement, or regulators where reasonably necessary to operate the service, enforce our terms, or comply with law.

5. Data Retention

We retain account, payment, wallet, merchant, and audit records for as long as necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or financial record-keeping obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of data and the regulatory context in which it was collected.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect personal information, but no platform, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, transaction PIN, and merchant credentials and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Your Choices

You may update certain account details from your dashboard. You may also contact us to request account review, correction, or deletion, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements that apply to payment and account records.

8. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, contact Amplepay through the contact channels published on the platform.
